Yiren Lu

I obtained my MSc(Eng) degree in Computer Science and Technology from Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences (ICT, CAS), where I am fortunate to be advised by Prof. Xiaoming Sun and Prof. Guojing Tian. Prior to this, I received my B.Eng degree in Computer Science and Technology from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) in 2022.

I mainly work on parameterised algorithms with a focus on algorithmic meta theorems. During my Master's, my research had been focused on quantum computation, specifically, quantum circuit optimization and variational quantum algorithms.
